This Privacy Policy describes how LiveWired, LLC ("LiveWired," "we," "us") handles personal information in the LiveWired iOS app and on livewired.tv (together, the "Services"). We wrote it to describe what we actually do — nothing more.
Account information. When you create an account: your name, username, email address, and a password (stored as a secure hash), or your Apple or Google sign-in identifier if you use those options.
Location, momentarily. If you use the broadcast ("Go Live") feature, the app uses your device's precise location at that moment to confirm you are at the venue. Location is used for this check and for on-site presence at that event; we do not build a history of the places you go.
Content you submit. Video and audio you broadcast or upload, and information you include in an artist or broadcaster application.
Usage and diagnostics. A device identifier, basic product-interaction events (for example, which screens are used), and crash reports, collected through first-party analytics tooling so we can fix problems and improve the Services.
Phone number, only if you opt in. If you ask for a text alert about a show, we collect the number you provide and use it only for those messages. Reply STOP any time to end them.
Payout details for approved partners. If you are a contracted broadcast or artist partner, we collect the information needed to pay you.
We use this information to run the Services: operate accounts, blend and deliver streams, confirm broadcasters are at venues, send alerts you asked for, pay our partners, keep the Services safe, and fix and improve them.
LiveWired is free and advertising-supported. The sponsorships and short video ads in the Services are served by us, from our own systems. We do not use third-party advertising networks or SDKs, we do not use advertising pixels or cross-site trackers, we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites, and we do not sell or share your personal information for advertising.
We share personal information only with service providers who process it for us — cloud hosting and content delivery, first-party analytics and crash reporting, text-message delivery, and payment processing for partner payouts — and where the law requires it, or in connection with a corporate transaction. We do not sell personal information.
You can delete your account in the app: Profile → Delete Account. This removes your account, scheduled broadcasts, follows, and notification requests. You can also email us at legal@livewired.tv to request deletion or a copy of your information, opt out of texts by replying STOP, and control location and notification access in your device's Settings. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights to access, correct, or delete your personal information; contact us and we will honor them.
We keep personal information while your account is active and as needed to run the Services or meet legal obligations, then delete or de-identify it. We protect it with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encryption in transit.
The Services are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
